Lexi & Dominik – The Wedding

Lexi and Dominik’s wedding day had been a long time coming…

I first met Lexi & Dominik on a cold wintery day, back in January 2019. I instantly knew I would love working with them. A few months later, we met up again for an engagement session, in a remote, beautiful little location near Bayfield, and had so much fun! I already couldn’t wait to photograph their wedding in June of 2020.

But of course we all know what happened next. No gatherings, no parties, no weddings. So the wedding was rescheduled for July 2021. With Dominik’s family, who live abroad, still not able to come due to Covid restrictions, the big day was postponed again.

I was so thrilled when they contacted me with a new date…September 2023! And finally, the day arrived. It was worth the wait. And who would have thought the end of September would be such a nice, warm summery day!

Lexi’s grandparents’ farm was the perfect setting for the outdoor ceremony, and the reception in the beautifully decorated shed. And who doesn’t love photos with horses? I love farm weddings!

I really had the best day capturing Lexi & Dominik, their sweet little daughter, and all their family and friends. After such a long wait, and so much planning and replanning, they deserved the perfect day, and that’s what they got.
