One of the things I love about my job is it gives me a chance to hang out with some really cool people. In this case, a life-long friend I had not seen in so long brought her family to me – what an awesome bunch she has! As you can tell, Katherine and her husband Brian have the most beautiful children…these two blondies are going to be little heart-breakers one day!

We were so lucky to have a warm sunny day – perfect opportunity to enjoy the fall colours in my yard! Katherine, I can’t tell you how awesome it was to see you and meet your family! Thank you!! Here is a little sneak peek of some of the pictures…

I got to do it again!  Another sunny afternoon and my camera and I headed out to the country to meet with another family.  The Hamilton (and extended!!) family is from the Ailsa Craig area and reside on a farm.   This family photo session was a perfect excuse for a family gathering on a Sunday afternoon, and I was only too happy to join them!  Beautiful old trees and pretty gardens made the perfect backdrops for this session.  I had a great time!

I think it was the hottest day of the year so far, but the heat did not bother me at all while I got to photograph this beautiful family! The Pridmore family requested that their photos be taken at Springbank Gardens in London, Ontario. What a beautiful place! The rose gardens, water fountains, ponds, bridges, pathways…wow – no shortage of backdrops here! Just before we left two weddings had moved in to take their wedding pictures there, as well…what a perfect location!

The Pridmores were so much fun to work with and I am so glad I got the chance to know them better.   Thanks for a great day and for putting up with the heat! Here are a few images from our day together…

Once again, I am reminded of why I love my job so much! I was so fortunate to spend an afternoon with an amazing family as they celebrated Grampa’s and Grandma’s 35th Wedding Anniversary! This time, I went to the beautiful town of St. Mary’s, Ontario, where there is no shortage of sites & sceneries!

John & June have been married for 35 years…quite an accomplishment! I could instantly tell they were extremely proud of their three children, their spouses and eight grandchildren – that’s eight grandchildren aged 7 and younger – with the youngest being two days old! I guess little Jacob did not want to miss family photos, so he made his appearance in the world a little early! The last time this family had photos taken was five years ago, and as you can tell, a lot has changed since then. I can’t wait to see the changes in another five years!

Thank you, John & June, and the rest of your family, for letting me be a little part of your day. I so enjoyed taking your photos and joining in your picnic after. Best wishes to you for another 35 years of happiness!!
