Grad & Senior Photographers in Exeter, Ontario

There are so many things I can say about Katie…she’s smart, talented, and beautiful inside and out…truthfully, she is one of the nicest girls I have ever met! It is rare to see Katie without a smile – in fact, it was a bit of a struggle to get some serious poses :) . Although I have been photographing band events for South Huron District High School for about a year and a half now (of which Katie is a big part!), I had not really met Katie until a few months ago. Since I’ve had the pleasure of meeting her, I have discovered she is delightful, and she was so much fun to photograph. We didn’t have to go far – a few cute little spots in the town of Exeter, a hop on the trail, and then back to her baby-grand piano. I’d say it was a pretty cool way to spend a Friday evening!

Katie…I really had a great time, and your family is awesome (having your Grandma there was such a bonus!). Thanks for being such a trooper – I hope you like your photos!!

Cheers!

It is always an honour when someone returns to my studio time after time. And we caught this one just in time…she gave birth to a beautiful baby boy just hours later!!

Here are some images from the maternity session…so looking forward to photographing her new bundle in his newborn session!! Congratulations, guys…so excited for your new addition to your beautiful family!!

On Friday night I had the honour of photographing the Jazz Soiree & Banquet for South Huron District Highschool’s music department fundraiser. What an amazing night! I can’t even describe how talented and committed this group of teachers and students are. Hours upon hours of practice has definitely made perfect. It was so awesome to see these students dressed up and doing what they do so well…play their chosen instruments all night. The decorations were amazing, the dinner was fabulous, and the atmosphere was festive! And, of course, an event like this could not be pulled of without the dynamic direction of some very committed teachers!

Hats off to all those involved in this event…I hope it was an amazing event to be remembered by all!

Cheers!

Newborn Photographers in Exeter, Ontario

Just under a month and Little Aleya is famous already…well, sort of, locally anyway. Aleya was the first baby of the year in the Exeter area, so she’s already had her picture taken for the paper and gotten lots of attention and fun stuff. As one of the sponsors for the first baby of the year through the Exeter Times Advocate, I had the pleasure of welcoming these cute little cheeks to my studio! What a sweetie…and look at those lips! This blue eyed beauty will be breaking hearts one day!

I so enjoyed having Aleya and her mom, Jen, come out (and they brought me coffee…excellent start to my day!). Here’s a sneak peek…enjoy!!

Cheers!

Anyone who has listened to Win Chelsea knows that Evan & Charlie are a couple of talented guys. And anyone who knows Evan & Charlie personally know that they are a couple of very entertaining guys – both on stage and off. So, even though they picked the coldest night of the year to do their photoshoot, we had a GREAT time! These two kept my daughters and myself thoroughly entertained throughout the shoot, as they always do. Temperatures of -15 are not exactly a photographer’s best friend, but we managed to get some cool shots, and some of them will be used to promote Win Chelsea’s new EP. So excited about this!!

Evan and Charlie – you know I think you`re awesome, and I KNOW this new EP is going places. Best of luck!!

Cheers!

High School Senior Photographers

As the end of the first semester approaches, many of you will be starting your last semester EVER in high school soon. Now THAT is exciting! You’re probably busy planning your next step – college, university…This is the end of a very important part of your life. Why not celebrate it? You’re only this young once, and after all your hard work in high school to get to where you are, you deserve something FUN!!

We all get our cap & gown pictures taken to mark this important event…it is important, as it is so symbolic. But, wouldn’t it be fun to capture this current time in your life with a photoshoot, as well? You will look back years from now and remember the time of your life. Include your friends, if you wish!

Or, if you’re a parent of a graduating student, what a great gift it would be to have your son or daughter be captured during this awesome year in their lives?

I will be booking Senior Shoots soon…contact me to book a session for you!!

Cheers!

Weddings Photographers in Exeter, Ontario…Bridal Sessions

Newly married Arlina and Adrian were excited to do a post-wedding photo session. Unfortunately, Adrian was called into work at the last minute; however, the venue was booked and we were still excited about doing a session, so we made the most of it and Arlina modelled away! Between the beautiful bride (she looks a lot like Julia Roberts, don`t you think??), and the gorgeous location, this ended up being one of my favourite bridal shoots. We had a great time and ended up with some kick-butt images.

It was such a pleasure working with you, Arlina!! Congratulations and best wishes to you!

Cheers!

Creative Inspirations…Newborn Photographers in London, Ontario

Zuri came to my studio last night at 10 days old. What a little doll! Her pretty, unique name means “Beautiful” in Swahilian, and this name suits her so well! Her perfect complexion and tiny features will one day make her a little heart breaker. Zuri much preferred being bundled, and check out how she liked to keep an eye on me!! Her parents, Will & Jessica, also brought their beloved pug, Ella, and I couldn’t help but have a little fun with her, as well. What a little poser. I just had to include a photo of her here, as well! :)

Jessica and Will, thank you so much for bringing Zuri in for her first photos. It truly was a pleasure to photograph her!!

Cheers!

Havin’ some fun with Chase…

Well…wasn’t it my lucky day – the MOST handsome man on my street came to my studio. Oh, that blonde hair, those beautiful eyes. Heart melting.

Yes, one year old Chase is THE cutest little guy! He came for his 1st birthday cupcake mash…but as you can tell by the pictures, he is not a big cupcake fan. Of course, when there is a hockey game on tv, nothing else matters, and he just knew he was missing it. That’s okay, though…he is totally adorable no matter if he’s happy, sad, serious or goofy! One day he’s going to be a little heart breaker!

Corey & Laura – I just love your little man! You can bring him over for cupcakes…or…um…hockey games anytime you want!!

Cheers!

Anita
ps…I might just sneak a few more pictures of Chase on my Facebook Fanpage, so head over there, too!

Okay now…gotta game to watch :)

A visit to the farm…and a new puppy!!

When Krista told me her family got a new puppy I wasted no time dragging my camera out to her farm. The puppy (a Bernese Mountain Dog they named Pearl) and Krista’s three children were beyond adorable…a photographer’s dream!! I could’ve brought them ALL home! The weather (and darkness!) shortened our little photoshoot, so I think I may need to go back! :)

Here’s your sneak peek, Krista…enjoy! I’m coming back soon…can’t wait to see how Pearl has grown!!

    Cheers!
