Anita Windsor….the Photographer
I still remember the first picture I ever took. I was seven years old and my parents, brothers and I went to the gardens in the front yard. My brothers and I got to take turns taking pictures of the rest of the family – it was almost like a competition to see who could take the best pictures. I can’t remember who won that contest…but I had officially been bitten by the Shutterbug! Over the years I always had different cameras, and took them everywhere. At weddings I sometimes became the “unofficial” photographer. Before we were married, my husband Dave gave me an awesome camera (okay…awesome for that time). Every time we “needed” a new camera, I always seemed to pick one much better than the last…and each time my passion for photography grew! There is nothing like the sparkle in a child’s eyes, the love in the faces of newlyweds, or the fun laughter of teens captured on camera! To create and capture images that will forever be remembered brings me great joy!
Now we reside north of London, just outside of Exeter, Ontario, with our two daughters, Alyssa and Maranda. I have an in-house studio, but also travel throughout southwestern Ontario to clients’ locations.
Capturing the personality and style of each individual is what I aim for. I love to photograph weddings, and include both traditional and unique images that the bride and groom will be proud to show their family and friends long after the big day is over.
I especially love to photograph children. I love to capture their innocence and their personalities that shine through, from newborn through the teen years. I love to use props and add imagination to each photoshoot. Children are wonderful models!
